Chlorakas or Khlorakas is famous as the landing site of Colonel Grivas Dhigenis in 1954 at the start of his guerrilla campaign and is known as Dhigenis' landing. Dhigenis was Greek god and the name was given to Grivas as an undercover name. There is a small museum here, which contains his boat, which was captured in 1955 while carrying arms for EOKA. The museum is open daily and is freely accessible.

The Coral Bay area provides some of the best beaches on the western side of the island. Located around 8km west of Paphos town, it is a perfect area for families.
