Archaeological Museum
one of the most important in Crete is operating since 1969 hosting collections of very important archaeological finds from Eastern Crete such as the ancient palaces of  Malia and Zakros.

Folklore Museum of Aghios Nikolaos
Established in 1985, it is housed on the ground floor of the Port Authority building, which is one of the oldest buildings in Agios Nikolaos, displaying a wide range of traditional Cretan handcrafts.

Panagia Kera:
This is the most popular Byzantine monument in Crete (13th- 14th A.D.), located in Logari, 1 kilometer east of the village Kritsa. dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, to Saint Anthony and Saint Anna with characteristic wall paintings renowned for their vividness, expressiveness and aesthetic perfection.

The Church of Aghios Nikolaos
North of the town on top of a small peninsula, the church of Saint Nikolaos, is one of the oldest example of early Byzantine architecture.

The Church of Panagia the Brefotrophus:
One-room covered-arch church situated in the center of the town dating from the beginning of the 12th century and it is dedicated to the Virgin Mary.
