Victoria Station Architecture

There are three buildings that compose the Victoria station complex. The building on the left side is the original building with Edwardian style architecture and magnificent sculptures such as the two mermaids, which are considered to be from the best sculptures of that period.
The third building is the renowned Grosvenor Hotel that was built in 1860-61 by James Thomas Knowles, and also has some beautiful sculptures and distinctive architectural character. Buildings and their sculptures are in Bath stone, with some colored cement and white Suffolk brick. The best views of Victoria station is the diagonal one when standing on one of the traffic islands next to the small clock called Little Ben.
