Gran Canaria Airport Transfer Bookings
Gran Canaria Las Palmas airport is located to the east of Gran Canaria on the Bay of Gando (Bahía de Gando), about 18 km (11 mi) from the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and 25 km (15 mi) from the popular tourist areas in the south.
It is mainly a tourist airport with a lot of traffic and large numbers of charter flights, during the summer months. It is the only airport on the islands with two runways, allowing it to have up to 53 landings and take-offs per hour. Terminals A and B/C are adjacent to one another and within a short walking distance.
Help Desks Information desks are located on level 1 of the airport in all three zones. The Gran Canaria Tourist Board has a tourist information point in the EU Arrivals hall (Zone A), with tourist information and maps available.
Money and communications: There is a bank on the ground floor of Zone A and ATMs on the first floor. There are bureaux de change in the EU Arrivals hall and in the check-in halls on the ground floor. There is a post office in the International Arrivals hall. An Internet cafe is situated after security on the first floor of EU Departures (Zone A).
Eating and drinking: There are coffee shops, bars and fast-food stands on both the Arrivals and Departures floors; a 24-hour deli is located in Zone A (before security).
Shopping: Shops include duty-free, a florist, a jewellers and a mini supermarket.
Luggage: Lost property offices are located in all zones (tel: (928) 579 130).
Other facilities: There is a 24-hour medical service, a pharmacy, baby rooms, a children’s play room, a chapel and several travel agencies and tour operators.
Fhe airport has two terminals, one for European Union and Mainland Domestic flights (Terminal A), and the other for non-EU and interisland flights (Terminal B-C)
