Palma Nova is located quite close of Majorca’s capital and is part of the extensively developed bay area that stretches from both side of Palma.
Palma Nova is not suitable for visitors who are interested in anything approaching ‘old Majorca’ as it is known as the most nightlife-oriented part of the island.
In that occasion is suitable for families with young children and anyone who want to party or play on the beach, Palma Nova is the place.
The tourists of Palma Nova sprefers to lie by pool or sea, go out late at night and have fun. Although it doesn’t have the reputation of Magaluf, is a rather noisy place.
It is like Blackpool with sun. In Palma NovaThere you can find English-style pubs, McDonald's, Burger King and Pizza Hut. It is also available Indian, Chinese and Mexican in abundance. On the other hand Spanish cuisine is quite rarer.
There are three sandy beaches. The Es Carregador, Playa de Palma Nova and Son Maties are connected by a long promenade but are also separated by low headlands.
All the daytime activities revolve around. Tourists who are fond of water sports can have really fun as these beaches offers a wide range of water facilities, such as: parascending, windsurfing, snorkelling and scuba-diving.
Plus it is offered land-based sports such as: tennis, golf, cycling, bowling and karting.
Palma Nova is a destination for British fun but not for Spanish culture. So it depends on what you want and what you expect of the place, to love or hate it.
