Tenerife North Airport Information
Tenerife North Airport (TNF) or else named Los Rodeos airport is located in the north of Tenerife.
The airport is not very well known especially to international travelers as it only started operating some international flights a few years ago.
The International airport of Los Rodeos – Tenerife Norte (Spanish name) is built at the area of La Lagun
a and it is in about ten kilometers far from the capital of Tenerife, Santa Cruz.
The airport mainly operates domestic flights connecting Tenerife to Spain and the other Canary islands (Alicante, Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Madrid, Gran Canaria, La Palma, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, La Gomera) and as mentioned before a few international flights mainly to and from UK.
It has an average of 4-million passenger traffic per year.
The airport has all the facilities needed all of which found in the ground floor which facilitates a lot the passengers as it is very easy to spot all the check in desks, collecting luggage and connection of flights.
There are eating and drinking facilities, toilets and information desk. The terminal has natural light during the day, which instantly gives you the feel of holiday destination airport, and even though it is not large in terms of size everything you might need can be found on the spot.
